One of the best pizzas in Chicagoland!!! Everyone is very friendly. I have been there many times. It's little loud for my taste, but that doesn't diminish the food taste
Wow. Amazing prices for such great food. The service was excellent. They constantly checked up on us and were very nice. The ambience is very calm and the mood it sets is perfect for a great pizza.
I'm not saying that when you visit Chicago you should drive 45 minutes to Elio's, but you could The muffuletta is on point (says a guy who loves to visit New Orleans) but the chicken ceasar is the best ever. I know, it's a chicken ceasar -- but the size and how they make the chicken was out of this world good and the service was superb. Don't let the strip location scare you off, just get there.
Food - amazing pizza, Italian beef was tasty as well We had the nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas deeelicious Service - okay, there was tension between the staff and wasn't a very welcoming vibe Ambiance - Italian style, positive atmosphere
Update! Update! Went again to this Italian gem and tried the Parmiggiana and wow! I absolutely love eggplant and on a pizza, it was amazing sauce. Doesn't it look beautiful? Confession: It was another instant flashback at first bite. This place gives me chills and reminds me so much of my nana. She would love this place. Can't recommend this place enough.
Good, good pizza! Have been wanting to try this place for a while. The restaurant feels authentic and has a large dining area. Nina was our server who was kind and attentive. We started off with the bruschetta mix which wasn't my favorite, but still good. We tried the Tonno (tuna), pesto, and pear and Gorgonzola. Time for the pizza! They have such a LARGE selection of pizzas! And all super affordable! My husband ordered the Rustica which was around $13 and I ordered their well known capricciosa, also just $13!! The dough was light and crunchy, but not very doughy. Remember, this isn't true Neapolitan, rather a Sicilian style pizza. Exquisite! Definitely on my wood oven pizza rotation of pizzas in the west suburbs. Glad we came! We'll be back for sure and would be interested in trying another appetizer.

I met my 3 buddies today for lunch. 3 of us are retired & 1 is still holding on? We met @ Elio Pizza on Fire on Addison IL. I've been wanting to come here forever. Elio's brother use to have an Elio's Pizza restaurant on Lincoln that I ate at w/my wife & sister. Their food was outstanding so needless to say we were very disappointed to learn that they had closed the restaurant on Lincoln. Da 4 of us guyz still get together from time to time for lunch & drinks to catch up up on life. We ordered 4 items and decided to share family style to be able to try more items. We got 2 salads & 2 pizzas * Pecan Salad - Mixed greens, bacon, red cabbage, cherry tomato, shredded cheese, and Dijon vinaigrette. Excellent combination. * Elio Super Salad - Grilled chicken breast, fresh mixed greens, tomato, and special house dressing. * Sausage Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, sausage & mozzarella cheese * Bacon Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, crispy bacon & mozzarella cheese All their food is cooked fresh & delicious. Very nice restaurant in a tiny strip mall out dere in da suburbs. It's quite a way (20 miles from where I live in da city) but we had da time. Excellent food great service & good times. Good to see da guys again (until next time)
